On May 5, 2026, the Green School (KTGS) held the inauguration ceremony of the new building together with the celebration of the school’s 10th anniversary. The event brought together students, teachers, monks, local authorities, parents, and community members to celebrate an important achievement for both the school and the community.
The new building was generously sponsored by Patrick and Camille McDowell from the USA. Their support has played an important role in improving our school facilities and creating a safer and better learning environment for both students and teachers. Because of their belief in our mission, many students now have greater opportunities to learn, dream, and grow.
As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Green School (KTGS), we remember how everything began with nothing but a dream. At that time, we faced many challenges, especially the lack of financial support. There were moments when the journey felt impossible, but we never gave up, and our determination never changed.
Even after ten years, we still remember the memories we created together. We cut down trees, dug holes under the hot sun, raised funds from villagers, built the school with our own hands, and did so much more together. Every corner of this school carries a story of hope, hard work, and unity. What began as a small dream has now become a place where children can learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
